We’re excited to welcome some new faces into the clevermethod family, Mya and Zach! While there are many important training and onboarding tasks these newbies have to complete, one of our favorites is asking our designer, Ashley, to make an illustrated version of them.

Now that you can match faces to names, it’s time to get to know a little more about them!
What was the most surprising thing you learned about clevermethod or a clevermethoder?
Mya- The most surprising thing I learned about clevermethod was how willing they were to take a chance on college students. It’s tough to get your foot in the door fresh out of college, and clevermethod’s willingness to train and truly teach was an admirable surprise.
Zach-The most surprising thing I’ve learned about clevermethod is how long a large portion of the company has been working together. It goes to show that clevermethod is a great place to work.
What is an upcoming client project you’re looking forward to working on?
Mya- One of our clients is thinking of incorporating influencer marketing into their upcoming campaign. I’m looking forward to working on this because it’s still a newer approach in the digital marketing field, and it will be interesting to see what this process entails.
Zach- I’m looking forward to working on Galbani. Always fun to work with cheese.
What aspect of your job excites you most? Why?
Mya- It’s exciting to know that I’m already working in a field that I am passionate about so soon after college. What excites me the most is applying all the knowledge I’ve learned and using it to help our clients achieve their goals and see results.
Zach- I enjoy the problem-solving. It feels great to have an element do what you want or to get some logic working the right way.
What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?
Mya- My favorite thing to do outside of work is to try new things to do around Buffalo. I follow a few Instagram accounts that offer restaurant and activity ideas, and this helps me get out of the house and explore new things about the city I grew up in.
Zach- My favorite thing to do outside of work is to spend time with my family. We like to visit the zoo often.
If you could have one song play every time you entered a room, what would it be and why?
Mya- Dancing Queen, because who doesn’t love an ABBA classic?
Zach- The Imperial March. If it’s good enough for Vader, it’s more than good enough for me.
