Since 1899, Cottrill’s Pharmacy has sought to become experts in some of the most unmanageable disorders/diseases in specialty pharmacy. Overall, the brand goal was to create a visually exciting and engaging website that showcased how they help their patients get back to living their lives–by providing outstanding, personalized service.

For years, the mission of Cottrill’s Pharmacy has been to maximize the health and well-being of its patients through unsurpassed personalized care. So, where did we come in? We began by creating a style guide that complemented their logo and introduced human interest photography throughout their website. By carefully selecting photos that aligned with each target demographic, we hoped to showcase the overall philosophy of Cottrill’s Pharmacy.

Once we completed the style guide, it was time to implement the digital marketing and technical updates.
The website was built on the WordPress platform and hosted by Pantheon. WordPress provides flexibility and ease of adding new content, while Pantheon facilitates ease of maintenance and a highly secure platform with outstanding technical support. Together, they make for a highly efficient website.
Following SEO best practices, we incorporated optimized page titles and meta descriptions for each page. Additionally, we organized the new site to support future digital marketing campaigns with landing pages for each audience and service with clear calls to action.

The COVID-19 pandemic and vaccine rollout had a significant impact on local pharmacies ’ business. That did not stop the team from successfully launching the new site in Q1 of 2021.
Overall, Cottrill’s received positive feedback both internally and from patients and partners. The website’s redesign enabled the client to easily communicate with patients and families at a time when communication and resources are critically important.
