Faced with a website redesign, we collaborated with Calspan to develop an online presence distinguishing them as a leader in technological advances.

During the 2008 website redesign, Calspan wanted to be viewed as a leader in innovation, communicated through illustrating their rich history in research and technology. By keeping the site clean and simple, a focus on photography simplistically demonstrated the advanced testing procedures employed at Calspan. With a specific target demographic of upper management and government agencies, we decided to design a navigational structure that was simple, yet intuitive. This website structure allows users to find needed information quickly. Calspan also hoped that the website redesign would incorporate company culture, benefits, and all available opportunities. For this reasoning, we found that adding a careers section to the primary navigation of the site made job searching easy, and informative (split up by department and location).
