In case you haven’t heard, there’s one place you need to be on Saturday, June 10: East Aurora Music Fest. More than 40 bands, 14 venues, food trucks and hundreds of music lovers will come together to benefit local non-profit organizations for the fourth year in a row. And with new bands, new participating venues and added shuttle buses, it’s about to be the biggest one yet.
As a platinum sponsor this year, we had the opportunity to develop some of the creative assets to accompany the event.
Here’s what we did.
Website refresh. Since the original website was slightly outdated, we gave it a facelift. We refreshed the site with new colors, fonts and video elements to create a modern browsing experience. The new EA Music Fest website also features a more cohesive look and feel to the brand. Users can now easily navigate between the lineup, venues and interactive map to quickly find the information they’re looking for.
Custom illustrations. To give the site an authentic East Aurora feel, one of our designers incorporated custom illustrations of each of the main locations. As you’re flipping through the venues, you’ll easily be able to spot the Roycroft, Griffon, BarBill and the rest of your favorite EA landmarks.
Here’s how she brought them to life:
Brochures and signage. Aside from creating a positive web and mobile experience, we also created bus stop signage and brochures that will be available at the event. We utilized the same fonts, color scheme and style to make sure the brand stayed consistent across all channels:
The flyers will contain everything you need to know: the band lineup, schedule of the day, participating venues and a map. But don’t worry–this will also be available on mobile.
Ready to rock this weekend?
While a few bands are slated to start playing at 2 p.m., the opening ceremony begins at 2:45 p.m. at the Healthy Zone Ice Rink. Following the ceremony, you can visit almost any venue in East Aurora and find primetime music of any and every genre. If you don’t have a wristband yet, they can be purchased for $15 at the door or $10 presale at most participating locations.
